Kythera | Video: How drug KTX-101 works in the body

1/1

The Brief

KYTHERA Biopharmaceuticals, now a part of Allergan, commissioned TBA Digital to develop a video to show how their new drug, then called KTX-101, functions in the body.

We produced a 3D animation to show the drug operating on a cellular level, and to demonstrate its potential benefits in patient treatment.

This type of work requires interpretive design that is true to the science, but there’s an art to it, too. The visuals must show complex interactions in an elegant way, telling what happens in a place that we can only imagine. It’s real, but no one can ever see it.

At least, not until our team of talented designers and animators has been turned loose on the task.

Features

  • 3D Mechanism of Action (MOA) animation
  • Full production process from script to final delivery handled in house
